The country has been experiencing devastating flood for the last few weeks. More than two-thirds of the total area of the country is inundated. A total of 10 million people have been affected by the flood. The people of the flood-hit areas are facing acute problem in managing their livelihood.
As embedded in MACCA's mission, “ MACCA is dedicated to working with individuals, challenged communities and other development and humanitarian partners to overcome people's vulnerability and sufferings irrespective of their religion, race, ethnicity or gender”, MACCA felt that it is its sacred duty to step forward in helping the flood-affected people of the country.
