MACCA publishes ‘Monthly Jiggasha’ - a thoughtful Islamic magazine edited by eminent Islamic scholar and media personality Moulana Abul Kalam Azad, MACCA chairman. The magazine contains various contemporary Islamic issues like:

• Elm (Islamic knowledge)
• Haram & halal
• Salat, its principles and guidelines
• Family and marriage
• Issue-based articles; e.g., Shab-e-Qdr, Eid, hazz etc.
• Human rights, women rights and status
• Topics on contemporary national issues of importance; from Islamic point of view
• Dr. Zakir Naik’s views and explanations on various issues and so on.

A very popular section of the magazine is “Question and Answer” published in Bengali and English, where Moulana Abul Kalam Azad shares Islamic views on various life-oriented questions with its readers from home and abroad. Through promoting Islamic values, the magazine is dedicated to the betterment of mankind and accordingly Masjid Council accommodates the following:

• publishing English translation of the question and answer section for the new generation living abroad;
• publishing a web version that is accessed free-of-cost by no less than 3,000 people a month
• distributing @ 50% of original price among the students
• distributing complimentary copies in various organizations and libraries – more than 2,000 a month;    
• providing answers to queries of numerous people over the phone and email from home and abroad.

Currently the Jiggasha team is in the process of publishing a 500-page book compiling the question and answers published in the magazine from 2005 through 2008.
